We are honored that you would visit us and take the time to learn about our national organization, our chapter, and our members. I am humbled for the opportunity to serve as the 2011 – 2012 President of Iota Psi Omega. Iota Psi Omega is a strong chapter and I am extremely honored to see more of her growth throughout my tenure as president. This is a time for change and progress throughout the nation; environmental change, economic growth and development, and women’s empowerment and I envision Iota Psi Omega leading the way. Within Iota Psi Omega, we have a wide variety of talents and skills that will be instrumental in continuing timeless service.
Under the current administration of our International Supreme President, Carolyn House Stewart, Esq., we are inspired by a dedicated investment of human capital and a bold commitment to the principles of basic human rights. Iota Psi Omega will also continue to devote talent and resources to the causes of awareness, advocacy, and action. These causes will be the primary vehicles for the worldwide delivery of our service initiatives. Iota Psi Omega is and will be more than happy to join the journey and accept the new mission of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Global Leadership Through Timeless Service.
